Meet the designers of Design Solutions Kitchen and Bath Studio:custom kitchens and baths, Downsview Kitchens, Elmwood Kitchens

Jeannine Drill has over twelve years of experience in the kitchen and bath industry. As a young girl, she admired her father who was a farmer, cabinetmaker, and custom home builder and had a dream to one day own a business. As owner of design solutions, inc. kitchen and bath studio (DSI), Jeannine is active in in all facets of kitchen and bath projects. Today, her focus and main source of pride is building the best team in a kitchen and bath design studio environment--carrying the best products, the most knowledgeable, and cohesive team to support all the intricacies fine kitchen and bath remodeling projects demand.

She is very pleased that many clients return over the years to engage our team, for yet, another custom project. Repeat clients and referrals are the largest testament to our combination of great products, great service, and satisfied clients. She is dedicated to the simple proposition that design solutions, inc. delivers, creative, custom design, professional project management, and total customer satisfaction. We offer a comfortable relaxed setting for both our clients and team members, and we all LOVE what we do – it’s a prerequisite for everything we do! We pride ourselves in translating and delivering our client’s vision and desires and bringing them to life!

Leslie Putney graduated from the College of Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts, in Communications. In addition, she graduated May 2005, from Marymount University, Arlington, Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Interior Design.

Leslie is a dynamic addition to the DSI team, where she utilizes her Interior Design education and experience with her strong background in tile design along with her creativeness and “take the bull by the horns” enthusiasm. Leslie brings her years of experience in tile design: layouts for backsplash, flooring, walls, indoor and outdoor applications, to her clients at DSI. Her full-time immersion in high-end retail/tile design which adds an amazing dimension to our in-house team. She is well versed in the latest products, producing quality designs using the materials best suited to a particular project, in combination, with the most creative applications of the materials. Leslie’s flair for style and tile combinations using texture, color, and unique materials is sought after on every project. In addition, she is a tile specialist at Design Tile Inc., Vienna, Virginia.

She is a talented professional in design and drafting. We are very fortunate to have her on our team.

Grazia Apolinares graduated from Universidad Federico Villarreal, in Lima, Peru, with a Bachelor Degree in Architecture. She attended SENCICO (National Service for the Building Science), National Autonomous School of Beaux-Arts, and Institute of Technology of the Metropolitan Area in Lima, Peru for Drafting Courses. Grazia’s experience illustrates her complete knowledge of what it takes to be a designer, her positions of sales representative and designer for kitchen and bath remodeling projects, measuring and estimating granite, freelance project kitchen designer, cost estimator, drafter, construction assistant, and furniture designer.

She proposes ideas and prepares preliminary and final showing plans, elevations, perspectives, and uses graphic techniques and hand drafting. Her attention of the project is detail. She currently attends ITT Technical Institute in Virginia for Computer Design Drafting and works closely with the designer team at design solutions, inc. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
